Rod Stewart won't put up with anybody talking smack about his daughter.
The rocker recently attacked British T.V. star Russell Brand for bragging about sleeping with his daughter. Rod was outraged when he heard Russell boasting about bedding 27-year-old model Kimberly.
Russell, who was accepting his Most Stylish Man of the Year award at the GQ awards on Tuesday, said to a packed London's Royal Opera House, "Here's to Rod Stewart, who had a go at me earlier this year for too much womanizing. But then again I did have a go on his daughter."
After Russell's comments, an angry looking Rod was seen whispering into fiancee Penny Lancaster's ear.
When the rock star took to the stage to accept his award for "Outstanding Achievement," he glared straight at Russell and said, "You went with my daughter did you? Were you well behaved? Russell, stand up."
He then asked if the comic star had gotten frisky with her to which Russell meekly replied, "I never touched the girl."
Rod fumed back, "F***ing right you didn't. You mustn't come up here and boast. I speak here as a father."
Rod was still furious with Russell at the award's show after-party.
"I haven't found Russell yet. He's been a bit timid since I said my bit. He's got to be careful, he can't do what he did. He might be a bit of a player but he mustn't boast. I never did," said the veteran rocker.
Russell, 31, has slept with a host of famous women - reportedly including Kate Moss and Sadie Frost - and has battled addictions to sex, heroin and alcohol.
MTV showed him the door when he turned up to work dressed as Osama Bin Laden the day after the September 11 bombings.
