Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster are throwing another wedding party. The 62-year-old rocker, who married Penny in a lavish ceremony in Italy two months ago, has decided to celebrate again - this time with a London bash.
A source said: "Rod and Penny wanted something totally private, just for friends and family."
The party is set to take place at the Intercontinental Hotel's Theo Randall restaurant on Saturday.
Guests will be treated to Scottish langoustine, succulent roast lamb, line-caught sea bass and beef carpaccio.
The couple's recent nuptials won't be the only reason to celebrate. Rod's daughter Kimberly, who turns 28 on August 21, is inviting her closest friends to the event, which will also be an early birthday party for her.
The source added: "They will all be letting their hair down in a big way. Kimberly has invited quite a few of her wild friends."
Rod and Penny, 36, who have a 20-month-old son Alastair, tied the knot in Santa Margherita Ligure at the sumptuous Villa Durazzo on June 16.
Guests at the reception included singer Michael Bolton and five of Rod's seven children, Kimberly, Ruby, Renee, Liam and Alastair.
