Stars Richard Gere and Halle Berry will receive 2006's Hasty Pudding award for a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment". Harvard Universty's Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest undergraduate thespian club in the U.S., hands out the pudding award each year.

Actress Berry, who won an Oscar for her part in Monster's Ball, will lead a parade through Harvard next month. Gere won a Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical, for his performance in the Oscar-winning film Chicago.

Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower's maid was arrested for stealing jewelry from the De Niro's, when she worked for them in their New York home.

Polish immigrant, Lucyna Turyk-Wawryowicz allegedly stole a $50,000 necklace among other items from Grace because the maid insisted she was "mean."
