Stiller, De Niro In Negotiations For "Fockers" Sequel

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro are in negotiations for another go at the "Fockers" in a new sequel to the hit "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers" franchise. The latest installment, "Little Fockers", would follow Greg Focker (Stiller) and Pam Focker (Teri Polo) and their new children.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that John Hamburg, who wrote this first two films as well as this March's upcoming "I Love You, Man", has been brought on to write the screenplay. Jay Roach, director of the first two films, will not helm the sequel but instead will produce.

Kate Beckinsale wanted to ban her daughter from auditioning for a movie in case she was "a disaster." Producers on "Everybody's Fine" needed a young actress to portray Kate's character as her younger self and asked if Lily, then eight, would try out.

Kate feared Lily might be upset if she didn't get the part, but the youngster managed to change her mother's mind.

Robert De Niro used to threaten to make his 13-year-old twins watch his infamous thriller "Cape Fear" if they were naughty.

The 65-year-old actor - who is father to twins Aaron and Julian and 10-year-old son Elliott with wife Grace Hightower - admits he often used the 1991 thriller, in which he played a convicted rapist, as a bargaining tool.
