Phil Spector is going to do everything he can to make sure he gets off the hook in the murder charges against him in the death of B-actress Lana Clarkson. And the way things are unfolding he has most likely taken a tip or two from the likes of O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake.

Attorneys for Phil have now filed a motion stating that the former model was not in the right state of mind when she died and was heavily under the influence of drugs. The music producer has denied he ever shot and killed Lana back in 2003. Instead, he claims she was the one who took her own life.

Actor Robert Blake has filed for bankruptcy, citing legal bills and the $30 million his late wife's children won in their wrongful death suit against him.

Blake, 72, had claimed for months that he was broke after his criminal trial for Bonny Lee Bakley's murder, and the civil suit filed after he was acquitted in criminal court, according to published reports.
