Robbie Williams is taking his E.T. obsession one step further. The "Millennium" singer is reportedly shelling out $5 million to buy an observatory to look at the stars in the galaxy.
A source tells The Sun, "Some of Robbie's acquaintances in L.A. have been having a chuckle at his expense. He is leading a bizarre existence at the moment - vanishing into the desert to look at stars in far-flung galaxies."
"He is dead set on buying himself his own observatory in the desert. He is hooked on all things from outer space."
The 34-year-old former member of "Take That" has allegedly been visiting the National Optical Astronomy Observatories in Tucson, Arizona to look into outer space.
Williams had previously claimed he had seen an UFO at least three times and would quit his music career to study aliens.
He had said, "I'm stopping being a pop star. I'm going to be a full-time Ufologist."
