Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have sparked rumors they have rekindled their romance. The pair - who are barred from contacting each other after Chris pleaded guilty to felony assault last month following his altercation with Rihanna last February - both reportedly stayed at Manhattan's Trump International Hotel and Tower over the weekend.

The New York Post newspaper reports: "The two spent the weekend at the same luxury Midtown hotel under a cloak of secrecy."

Madonna had her phone confiscated at Jennifer Lopez's 40th birthday party. The singer and other celebrity guests, including Rihanna, Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys and Mary J Blige, were forced to hand over their mobile phones and any cameras before they were allowed into New York's Hotel Griffou to celebrate with Jennifer last Friday.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Diddy announced the DJ would be performing a tribute to Michael Jackson. Chris did an amazing impression of Michael's moonwalk. It wasn't long before he was dancing with Amber.

Chris Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault for the February beating of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a Los Angeles court room on Monday. The star won't be seeing any jail time, however. He also won't be seeing much of Rihanna. The judge has ordered Brown to stay 50 yards away from the "Umbrella" singer.

The 50-yard deal becomes 10 yards, however, if they are both present at the same event. Also included in the plea deal are 180 days of community service, such as trash removal in his home state of Virginia. He'll also have to attend two weeks of domestic violence counseling.

Rihanna and her new boyfriend are inseparable. The "Umbrella" singer - who is rumored to have been dating Aubrey 'Drake' Graham for two months - was seen canoodling with the upcoming Canadian rapper at a premiere after-party for new movie "Year One" at New York's Empire Hotel on Monday.

Rihanna - who was allegedly assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown - barely left the 22-year-old's side as they flirted and frolicked at the bash before heading to the VIP section of nearby nightclub Greenhouse.
