If you've ever stopped to notice, Renee Zellweger is one Hollywood celebrity we don't hear from that often and who is probably swapping tips with Ricky Martin on how to live a solitary, quiet life.
But Renee recently emerged from hiding and said she prefers being a recluse than in the media spotlight because she can't stand all the attention that comes with being famous.
The private actress says she's "terrified" by the paparazzi and photographers who will do anything to get a snapshot of the stars -even if it means getting supremely aggressive.
Renee remembers the days when she enjoyed a simple life serving drinks at a bar and wishes she could go back to living in anonymity. The actress who was had at "hello" says it's not in her nature to be the center of attention, so she tries to avoid red carpet premieres and Hollywood parties as much as possible.
According to ContactMusic.com, she explained, "Why am I not a 'look at me' girl? When I face the red carpet before a premiere, I am terrified by the wall of photographers screaming my name. It is so violent. When I first went to Hollywood, I remember working for two years in a bar. I was happy when all I had to worry about was the labels on the bottles."
