The 'Walk The Line' star now earns a phenomenal $18 million per film - atleast.
The mom-of-two gatecrashed the elite list, smashing the previous record setby Julia Roberts ($14m), knocking the 'Pretty Woman' star into second place.
Witherspoon - who is best known for romantic comedies like 'Legally Blonde'and 'Sweet Home Alabama' - is also in line to win for Oscar for her role in the acclaimed Johnny Cash biopic, 'Walk The Line'.
Third place on the list goes to 'Charlie's Angels' actress Cameron Diaz($11m), while Drew Barrymore and Nicole Kidman ($10m) came in joint fourth.Singer-turned-actress Jennifer Lopez ($8.5m) takes sixth place, followed byOscar-winner Halle Berry ($7m). Eighth place is another tie between AngelinaJolie and Renee Zellwegger ($6m).
The top ten is rounded off by former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston ($4m).
