Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's divorce was finalized on Thursday. After seven years of marriage, Witherspoon filed for divorce in 2006.
Los Angeles court records show that financial and custody settlements have been reached, although details were not available. The couple have continually sought a shared custody arrangement with their children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4.
Witherspoon is currently dating Jake Gyllenhaal, while Phillippe, 33, recently stepped out with Australian actress Abbie Cornish, 25.
Witherspoon and Phillippe first met when a friend brought Phillippe to Witherspoon's 21st birthday party. He proposed two years later, after they costarred in 1999's "Cruel Intentions."
