For a brief moment it seemed like a love triangle was brewing between Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Phillipe.
However, the chances of Reese and Ryan reuniting after almost one year of separation is still unlikely. Despite reported sightings of the estranged husband and wife working out, shopping and enjoying meals around Brentwood, California, the "Gosford Park" actor's rep denies that they are rekindling their romance.
Since they split in October 2006, Reese has enjoyed an on/off relationship with Jake. The super private pair were officially off until some new recent sightings.
According to Us Weekly magazine, Reese has dealt with her issues and decided to multi-task. An insider said, "Reese came to terms with the fact that she can have a relationship and spend time with her kids."
Reese and Jake met on the set of "Rendition" while the actress was still living with Ryan.
