In the midst of cooing romance, speculations were made that the Hollywood duo was a short-lived movie affair.

Not until the power couple was spotted in good spirits as they stepped out in Santa Monica over the weekend for a coffee and some shopping.

Last June, Reese, a mother to Ava and Deacon, claimed that she preferred to be single for a while longer, while still smarting from divorce with Ryan Philippe; while Jake told the press that he's still yet single.

But with the actual proof of happily together, speculations seemed to be a plain form of imagination.
