Multi-Grammy winning rapper Eminem will exchange wedding vows once again with his ex-wife, Kimberly Scott Mathers.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers II, and Kim wed for the first time in 1998, and their bitter divorce and custody batter over their daughter Hailie was final in 2001.

Eminem and Kim have had a tumultuous, headline grabbing relationship from the beginning, with Kim's arrests and rehab stints as well as Eminem's taunting lyrics, fights, and lawsuits. Fresh out of rehab himself for sleep medication dependency, Eminem cancelled his European tour and reconciled with Kim.

Eminem was signed by hitmaker producer Dr. Dre for his Aftermath label after Eminem took second place at the 1997 Rap Olympics MC Battle in Los Angeles.

The Grammy winning LP Slim Shady followed in 1999, eventually going triple platinum. The Marshall Mathers LP, which was released in 2000 and is the fastest selling rap album of all time, moved close to 2 million units its first week out of the gate. That CD has songs "Kill You" and "Kim." The song's topic, violently murdering Kim Mathers, allegedly drove her to a suicide attempt.

The couple's wedding is planned for January 14.
