Quentin Tarantino has linked filming Uma Thurman's fight to climbing Mount Everest.

The filmmaker has revealed to Britain's Culture magazine that making the two "Kill Bill" films were a couple of the hardest in his life - and compared it to trekking up the world's tallest peak.

Quentin Tarantino's characters aren't the only ones faced with death in "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction."

The cult-director, whose recent films included the "Kill Bill" series, has revealed to Culture magazine that he would have risked his own life in order to get the films made.

Kurt Russell has signed on to star in Quentin Tarantino's horror film "Dead Proof". Russell will play Stunt Man Mike.

Like his "Kill Bill" franchise, "Dead Proof" is one half of a double feature. Robert Rodriguez joins Tarantino by directing the other half of the feature named "Planet Terror".
