Her Majesty can pretty much mingle with anyone and likes to invite even athletic men for a good chit-chat at the royal palace.
Britain's Queen Elizabeth had tea with the Arsenal Football Team at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
The queen hosted a reception for the team after she was forced to cancel her visit to the club's new Emirates Stadium, in North London, last October, because of a strained muscle in her back.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said, "She has made a nice gesture and it is an honor for us to be here."
The team enjoyed an hour-long tour of the palace before sitting down to tea with the queen.
Star football player Thierry Henry said, "It was a major honor to come here and be able to meet the queen and have a look around. When I go home, I'm going to say to my little girl that I've been to Buckingham Palace."
The queen was said to be "extremely disappointed" at missing the official opening of the Emirates Stadium last year, and was eager to reschedule a meeting with the players.
Arsenal are the first football club ever to have been invited to palace.
