Lindsay Lohan's life has drastically changed in the past week.
She has gone from being a Hollywood wild child, partying her way around Tinsel Town, to a rehab patient. However, according to a friend of the actress, she couldn't be happier.
While Lindsay seems to have been reluctant to get help in the past, her most recent stint in Promises rehab facility in Malibu is agreeing with her.
Nate Newell, Lindsay's stylist friend, told PEOPLE magazine, "She's happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be okay. I've been in touch with her and she likes it."
The starlet's previous rehab attempt proved to be unsuccessful as she was drinking and partying just days after she was discharged. However, during her month at L.A.'s Wonderland facility, Lindsay frequently left the grounds to work on a movie, shop and dine with friends.
Nate continued, "Wonderland is an outpatient service so she was back and forth from the ("I Know Who Killed Me") set. She just needs to be away from everyone and not get attacked by the paparazzi."
Lindsay will be released just days before her 21st birthday.
