| It seems like a young royal's girlfriend is surely making a name for herself. Prince Harry's girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, was recently named the world's second most powerful blonde. The 20-year-old was described as the "new face of royalty" in the poll conducted by Tatler magazine. Tatler magazine said, "At first merely a South African Sloane with Page Three looks, Chelsy soon proved she had two major assets - she looked good and partied hard. A whole new breed has emerged: Chelsy Girls. Girls Aloud on the outside, Debrett's on the inside." | |
| Prince Charles isn't the only royal reaching out to British soldiers who are putting their lives on the line everyday amidst world terror. Princess Anne recently visited British troops in Afghanistan this week. She is the first royal to travel to the war-torn country since British soldiers were deployed to the south of Afghanistan earlier this year. The Princess Royal saw troops in the troubled Helmand province and paid a visit to the NATO headquarters in Afghanistan's capital Kabul during her two-day tour. | |
| Britain's Zara Phillips' hard work and determination paid off - the young royal was recently named Equestrian of the Year. The 25-year-old received the accolade at the Horse of the Year show, in recognition of her recent individual gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Germany. The blonde royal is only the third rider in history to hold both the World and European championship titles at the same time. | |
| Britain's Princess Anne was in attendance for a special celebration this week. The princess helped a sailing club celebrate their 70th anniversary in Essex. The sea-loving royal - Queen Elizabeth's only daughter - wooed the crowds at Tollesbury marina as she got thoroughly involved with the festivities. | |
| A lowly shopkeeper unexpectedly became a chauffeur for Britain's Queen Elizabeth during a royal visit to the Western Isles. Russell Town was shocked when Princess Anne came into his Hebridean shop and asked, "Do you know where Her Majesty could get a taxi?" | |
| Britain's Queen Elizabeth II has taken her family on a Scottish cruise in her luxury yacht, Hebridean Princess. The Queen's husband, Prince Philip, her son Prince Edward and his wife and daughter, and her granddaughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were on board to celebrate. | |
