| Britain's Princess Anne has visited a racing school exactly 25 years after her brother, Prince Charles, opened it. The 58-year-old royal paid a visit to Suffolk's British Racing School on Tuesday where she met representatives from Forest Heath Council, East Cambridgeshire Council and school staff. | |
| Britain's Zara Phillips was asked to star in a reality TV contest. The 27-year-old daughter of Princess Anne revealed she and boyfriend Mike Tindall were approached to appear on British talent show "Strictly Come Dancing" - which sees celebrities learn to dance with professionals, and one couple eliminated each week - but turned down the offer. Seated in the show's audience on Sunday, Zara revealed: "We did get asked but it's a bad time of year for us, unfortunately. So we have to watch, but we love watching it." | |
| Britain's Queen Elizabeth threw a lavish birthday party for Prince Charles Thursday night. The monarch's eldest son turned 60 Friday and the queen hosted over 450 guests at Buckingham Palace to mark the landmark occasion. The queen, husband Prince Philip, Charles, his wife the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla and his sons Princes William and Harry were joined at the bash by Charles's siblings Princess Anne and Princes Andrew and Edward, along with minor royals including Lady Sarah Chatto. | |
| Prince William and Prince Harry helped their cousin Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, celebrate his upcoming wedding with a two-day bachelor party this past weekend. The party, complete with personalized T-shirts and drinking games, honored their cousin who will marry his Canadian fiance Autumn Kelly at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 17. The bachelor party spent the day sailing and stopping at pubs to drink, eat and dance. According to People.com, a bar manager for Painters Arms on the Isle of Wigh said of the group's visit to the pub Saturday night, "There was about 15 of them dressed in black rugby shirts with nicknames written on the back. William had 'Wills' and Harry, 'Hazza.'" | |
