Britain's Prince William has decided not to attend the rugby match between England and Wales this weekend, so as not to show favor to either side.
The prince has claimed in the past to be a "die-hard" England supporter but recently became Vice Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, and fears attending the Six Nations match on Saturday might offend the side he does not support.
A Welsh Rugby Union spokeswoman told Britain's The Independent newspaper: Prince William is not coming to the match. He kicked off his role as Vice Patron at the game with Ireland last month, but he was never going to be coming to every game. We are sure he will be back again soon."
Recently, the prince stayed away from Wales' match against Scotland and attended an England match in Twickenham instead.
William, 24, supports his grandmother Queen Elizabeth - who is Patron of the Union - in his post.
The appointment was announced last summer and William took up the position in February. The Welsh team have lost four Six Nations matches in a row and are currently favorites for this year's Wooden Spoon.
