Britain's Prince William's ex-girlfriend Kate Middleton will be supporting her former royal lover backstage at this summer's Concert for Diana. The brunette beauty - who split from the 24-year-old prince in April - has played a vital role in organizing the commemorative show at London's Wembley Stadium and will be on hand to help on the big day.
Prince Harry's girlfriend Chelsy Davy will also be waiting in the wings for the July 1 event.
A source told Britain's The Mail on Sunday newspaper: "They have been very active behind the scenes, but their involvement has been kept very quite until now.
"It will be quite significant for Kate as it will be her first public event with William since they split.
"She helped him draw up a wish list of acts and William wants her to see the results of it all on the night. Both she and Chelsy will be backstage supporting."
Kate and Chelsy - who is currently enjoying a world tour - have been given VIP Access All Areas passes for the memorial concert, which marks the 10th anniversary of Diana's death.
The source added: "Chelsy is coming back from her travels and has already picked about five friends to bring with her.
"Kate hasn't decided who she'll take, but it will probably be her sister Pippa."
The impressive line-up for the extravaganza includes Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Take That and Lily Allen.
