Britain's Prince William's ex-girlfriend Kate Middleton is considering moving to the U.S. The 25-year-old brunette is thinking of leaving the U.K. and taking a fashion PR job in New York, following her very public break-up from the prince earlier this month.
A source told New York Daily News: "Kate has been offered a job as a PR coordinator for fashion mogul Tom Ford and she is considering it.
"It would be a great experience for her and she'd be based in Manhattan."
Kate has been working in London as an accessories buyer for British clothing chain Jigsaw since last November.
She graduated from the University of St. Andrews - where she met the prince while sharing a student house with him - in 2005 with a History of Art Degree.
Kate did plan to set up her own children's clothing mail order company but had to put the business venture on hold when a key investor pulled out in early 2006.
Kate and William decided to go their separate ways during a skiing vacation together.
It has been reported that the 24-year-old prince felt too young to marry, while Kate was eager to settle down.
