Pop legend Prince is reportedly set to re-form the New Power Generation and make a surprise appearance at this week's Brit Awards. According to published reports, Prince is to perform at Wednesday's ceremony at Earl's Court in London.

The News Of the World reports the singer will play three tracks, but has not yet decided which hits from his back catalogue to include in his set. Brit Awards organizers have still not confirmed Prince's appearance, but claim there are more last-minute performers to be announced for the ceremony.

Acts such as Coldplay, James Blunt, Kaiser Chiefs, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall, Gorillaz, Jack Johnson and Paul Weller have already been confirmed to appear at the show.
