Chelsy Davy kept her cool even in moments of chaos a week ago.
Britain's Prince Harry's girlfriend was able to stay calm when she was robbed at gunpoint at a local bar in Cape Town, South Africa, on September 3.
The 20-year-old student was drinking in a wine bar with a female friend when a group of armed robbers ordered all the staff and customers to lie on the floor while they stole cash, mobile phones and credit cards.
"The incident definitely shook Chelsy but she escaped unharmed. Prince Harry was kept informed of developments and has been in touch with Chelsy throughout the week. Harry was deeply upset and has been doing everything to make sure she was OK," said a royal source.
The robbers had been drinking alongside Chelsy when they pulled out guns and knives and ordered everyone to the floor.
Bar owner Devilliers Nienaber was kicked in the head during the robbery. He has now revealed that Chelsy comforted him after the ordeal was over.
"Chelsy had been drinking quietly with a girlfriend. Then these guys suddenly got up and threatened us with a gun. She stayed quiet and calm. There was no screaming and no crying. I think that's what saved our lives," said Nienaber.
"Chelsy and the others helped me up and we sat for a while having drinks until the police came. Chelsy was worried sick about losing the house keys and her mobile phone," he added.
