| Britain's Prince Harry is getting motorcycling lessons from a champion racer. Sunshine Coast rider Chris Vermeulen was stunned when he received a call from Buckingham Palace inviting him to visit London to meet the prince, a keen bike fan. Queensland-born Chris revealed: "Harry really enjoys his riding and he wants to get on the track. Obviously there are security issues with him being out on the circuit with a lot of people." | |
| Britain's Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is to be the grandmother of twins. The 62-year-old royal - the wife of Prince Charles - has reportedly confirmed her 30-year-old daughter Laura Lopes is pregnant with two babies while meeting with people from the Gloucestershire Federation of Women's Institutes (WI). A federation spokeswoman said: "The duchess asked our chairman, Margaret Clarke, what she enjoyed about the garden and she said the boys' tree-house." | |
| Britain's late Princess Diana was Paris Hilton's idol. The hotel heiress says she was inspired by the princess - who died in a car crash in August 1997 - but now knows she couldn't live the life Diana did as she was constantly hounded by paparazzi. Paris, who is often followed by photographers, said: "I always looked up to Princess Diana and all these women, and now I could never be like that. I want to have a family. I want to be normal. I want to be happy." | |
| Justin Timberlake wants Britain's Prince William to wear jeans from his label. The "SexyBack" singer has revealed the 27-year-old royal is just the sort of person he wants to sport jeans from his William Rast clothing line. He said: "Do you know who we're trying to get into a pair of our jeans? Prince William - he'd look pretty cool in Rast. And Harry too." | |
| Britain's Prince Charles is a fan of dreadlocks. The prince praised builder Lance Deem's matted hair style during a visit to a firm which makes environmentally-friendly building materials near Brecon, Powys, as part of his annual tour of Wales. Lance - who joked his job of mixing lime-based products had resulted in his dreadlocks - said the prince chatted to him about his hair. | |
| Britain's Queen Elizabeth has entered six horses in this year's Royal Ascot races. The 83-year-old monarch - who is known to bet on her own equines - wore a canary yellow silk dress with a matching linen jacket and boater-style hat to the first day of prestigious annual event Tuesday. She is expected to return to the racetrack in Berkshire, south east England, today to watch her first horse run in the Jersey Stakes. | |
