Britain's Duchess of York is looking for love. Sarah Ferguson recently holidayed in Spain with ex-husband Prince Andrew but laughed off speculation they are set to reconcile, claiming she hopes to find a new boyfriend soon.

She said: "Andrew and I are the best of friends. It's a wonderful thing."

Britain's Prince Andrew spent hours "chatting up" a rich socialite in New York on Wednesday night. The 49-year-old royal shocked onlookers at trendy East 54th Street restaurant Monkey Bar when he made a beeline for fashion heiress Valesca Guerrand-Hermes and spent the whole evening by her side.

Sources told America's New York Post newspaper the Duke of York seemed "fixated" on Valesca, and couldn't stop staring at her.

Britain's Princess Eugenie partied until 4am on Wednesday morning. The 18-year-old royal spent the evening at the exclusive Boujis nightclub in London's South Kensington district, and emerged in the early hours looking tired.

Wearing a dark blue knee-length coat, brown leather bag and black boots the princess climbed into a waiting taxi before being whisked home.

The duchess was reportedly devastated when the laptop - containing hundreds of intimate family pictures - was stolen during a break-in at a photographic studio in southern England in December.
