Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is being sued for assault, battery and negligence of a paparazzo who he allegedly shoved during in a Malibu parking lot.
The photographer, Robert Rosen, claims that on October 26, Brosnan had "suddenly and without warning" struck him in the chest while he was taking the actors' pictures.
Rosen claims the attack caused him "severe physical and emotional pain and injuries, including bruised ribs."
The lawsuit was filed Monday in L.A. Superior Court. Rosen insists that the attack to him was "designed to inflict pain and injury."
The suit calls for unspecified general and punitive damages, the cost of medical and psychological treatment, and lost earnings.
