After four years, Phil Spector may no longer be able to hide from the truth - whatever it comes down to.

A jury that consists of four men and two women will ultimately decide the music producer's fate in the murder trial of B-actress Lana Clarkson. If Spector is found guilty of the crime, he may spend up to 15 years behind bars.

According to Mercury News, several women were removed from peremptory challenges by the defense. On Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler was quoted as saying he was "keeping an eye" on the matter. But so far... no problems. Reports say there has been no violation of the law as far as the eye can tell.

Opening statements are set to begin today.

Lana was killed on February 3, 2003 at Spector's home. The producer has since denied having anything to do with her death, although he has stated in the past that he suffers from bipolar and was allegedly at the scene of the crime. Go figure.
