Rumor has it that no one was more surprised at the break up of Phil Collins and his wife Orianne- than Orianne herself.
Just hours before the former Genesis star announced their split, Orianne insisted that separation speculation was untrue.
Collins' wife of six years, Orianne, maintained, "It is absolute rubbish to say we are separating or divorcing," and her friends confirm she never thought they'd break up, even though their marriage wasn't considered blissful.
A friend revealed, "Orianne was not overly happy. She said last year that she had married too young but there was never a question of them getting divorced."
This appears to be Phil's M-O, considering he also dumped his previous wife, Jill Tavelman, by fax, simply telling her he would not be coming home.
