Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz denies Ashlee Simpson is pregnant, a rumor that circulated immediately after their engagement was announced.
Wentz writes an email to MTV to disprove the gossip as saying, "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood."
"This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover... I mean really, this is crazy... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
When asked to clear if he really was denying the pregnancy reports, he answered, "Yeah."
A spokesperson for the couple had added further speculation to the rumor by declining to confirm or deny the rumor on Monday, "We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple. Beyond that there is nothing to add."
Wentz and Simpson announced their engagement last week. They reportedly started dating since 2006, but they only acknowledged their relationship mid 2007.
