Pete Doherty proclaimed that he was well and truly clean from drugs. But now he is going back to rehab - not a place for a sober person to go.
According to one of the junkie rocker's band mates, all it took for Pete to fall off the wagon was a week long bender.
The friend told England's Sunday Mirror newspaper, "Pete did go out on a bender last week but he has reduced his intake massively and he hopes the new implant will help him quit for good."
Exhausting all other options to get healthy, the Midlands Clinic will be providing Pete with an implant that aids in curbing cravings for heroin. However, the latest rehab stint means that Pete will miss his girlfriend's debut as a fashion designer.

The couple, who have been on and off for years, are reportedly engaged.
