Penny Lancaster has vowed never to remarry once Rod Stewart dies.
The 36-year-old model tied the knot with the 62-year-old rocker in Italy last month and has revealed she changed her wedding vows because she didn't want to say "'til death us do part."
Penny told Hello magazine: "Rod and I really did choose tradition, but where the classic vows talk of love 'til death us do part', well I didn't think I could say that with meaning because even if one of us were to die, the love would certainly go on. We just changed the words to 'love forever.'"
"I managed not to cry while Rod was making his vows, but a couple of my own words were a bit quivery and one tear fell before I could pull myself together and restore the Penny smile!"
"I had this big grin of joy all day!"
Rod and Penny have an 18-month-old son Alastair together. The 'We Are Sailing' singer has been married twice before and has six other children by four different women.
