Cruz said, "I've met Suri. She's really beautiful. She's very special-one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen."

The 32-year-old actress dated Tom Cruise for three years after they met on the set of "Vanilla Sky." They split in 2004 and last year Cruise, 44, proposed to "Batman Begins" star Katie Holmes, 27, after a whirlwind romance.

Holmes gave birth to Suri on April 18 this year but the baby is yet to be seen in public.

Cruz revealed the parents are very proud of their daughter. She said, "I'm so happy for them. They're really happy and doing great."

Speculation is mounting as to whether Cruise and Holmes will tie the knot in a secret ceremony at The Scientology Centre in Los Angeles this weekend.
