A Dame may have won the BAFTA for best actress, but Penelope Cruz believes all the nominees are queens.
The stunning actress, who has recently shut off romance rumors with Olivier Martinez, told BANG Showbiz that she is not upset about losing out to Dame Helen Mirren.
Cruz, who is nominated for a best actress Oscar for her role in "Volver," complimented all of her fellow nominees. She said, "I didn't feel I was against "The Queen" to win. There is not one queen in this competition. We are all queens. I was so happy to be there and to be asked to present an award, as well as to be nominated."
The Spanish star is competing for the top honor at the Academy Awards alongside favorite Mirren, Dame Judi Dench and Kate Winslet.
While she has been solo on the red carpet, Cruz has been linked to two Hollywood heartthrobs lately - Olivier Martinez and Orlando Bloom. While the actress has denied anything more than a friendship with the French actor, she has not commented on her relationship status with Bloom.
