Sir Paul McCartney is set to become a grandfather again.
The former Beatle - currently in the process of divorcing estranged wife Heather Mills - is delighted his daughter Stella McCartney is expecting her second child.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "Paul told friends, 'I'm absolutely thrilled. It's great to have something to celebrate at last. Stella's made up and we can't wait for the birth. It will make next year very special.'"
Stella, 34, and her publisher husband Alasdhair Willis already have a 17-month-old son Miller.
he fashion designer knew her good news would cheer her father up after he was left devastated by claims that Heather worked as a high-class prostitute - allegations she denies - and posed in a German sex book.
The source added, "She couldn't wait to tell her dad. After everything he's been through recently, she knew it would really cheer him up. She's been talking to him a lot since his marriage broke down - they've grown closer than ever. Paul told her he is smiling again because of the baby."
The new baby will be Paul's fourth grandchild - his daughter Mary also has two sons, Arthur, seven and Elliot, three.
Stella's representatives have so far refused to comment on the alleged pregnancy.
