Now that former Beatle Paul McCartney's divorce from Heather Mills is finalized, it has given McCartney a chance to whisk his new lady away for a little vacation. McCartney and Nancy Shevell spent a secluded weekend on the coast of Antigua.
The couple have been staying at a posh resort at Jumby Bay, a 300-acre private island. While staying in a $2,375-a-night two bedroom suite with a beachside balcony and kitchen, they have spent their days strolling on the beach, reading by the pool and riding bicycles around the city of St. John's on Antigua.
Shevell and McCartney both have homes in the Hamptons. Shevell, 47, is separated from her husband. She is the mother of one and a vice president at New England Motor Freight, Inc.
McCartney, 65, and Shevell were caught on camera kissing in the Hamptons last week, and the pictures were splashed across papers in New York and Britain. During their romantic get-away in Antigua, some bystanders said they looked like casual friends while others said they definitely saw sparks between the two.
