Paris Hilton has an early morning date on her first day out of prison. A court date, that is.
After being released extremely early from Los Angeles County Jail - serving just three days of her 23-day sentence - the Superior Judge has ordered her to appear in court to discuss the matter.
When she was initially sentenced, Judge Michael Sauer clearly stated that no outside sentence would be permitted. Even as she was going into jail, Paris claimed that she would take responsibility for her actions and serve the time.
However, just after three days, she apparently developed a medical condition, believed to be psychiatric, that prevented her from staying in solitary confinement any longer.
Since her release, legal professionals have publicly opposed the Sheriff's decision. Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, civil rights leaders, defense attorneys and others has been particularly verbal, revealing that they have received over 400 complaints from the general public.
County supervisor Don Knabe told The Associated Press, "What transpired here is outrageous."
Don continues that the decision by the Sheriff "gives the impression of...celebrity justice being handed out."
When Paris appears back in court, Judge Sauer will determine whether she should be returned to prison or can serve her remaining sentence at her Hollywood Hills mansion.
Paris has been ordered to report to court at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.
