Paris Hilton suffered in jail and now the public will have to suffer again when the heiress releases a new album.
As part of her plan to be taken seriously, Paris is focusing on her singing career - one of the avenues Paris has taken and people have sniggered. The star's debut album "Paris" sold only 600,000 copies worldwide and generated two small hits, "Stars Are Blind" and "Jealousy."
However, never one to let failure stop her, Paris is getting back on the musical horse and ridding it into the recording studio.
She told E! Online, "I'm already working on my new record. I've been in meetings with Scott (Storch) and we've been working on it."
Scott was the producer behind her first album, which was released via her Heiress Records company.
Hoping for more success than previously, the starlet has been attending singing lessons to make sure her voice is in tiptop shape for her next CD - despite the fact that she has never sung live.
A source told E!, "She takes voice lessons several times a week. She's really serious about her music career."
Another insider revealed that it is Paris' singing career, not her acting, writing, perfume, parting or posing, that means the most. The source said, "Of all her projects, her music is the most important to her. She really works very hard to be taken seriously in the industry and make good music people will enjoy."
