The inevitable meeting finally took place, Paris Hilton has at long last met her best friend's daughter. The socialite has been introduced to longtime pal Nicole Richie's new born daughter, Harlow Winter, during a sleepover at Richie's mom's house.
"She looks like a miniature version of Nicole and Joel," Hilton says, contrary to baby daddy Joel Madden's blog entry that says their daughter looks like her mom so much "it's crazy."
"We had a sleepover at Nicole's mom's house. I was crying when I saw her. I am so happy for them."
Meanwhile, the heiress has made nice with late night show host David Letterman and returned to guest on his show. Hilton had a less than favorable appearance last September when Letterman grilled her about her 23-day jail sentence. But Hilton tells Pagesix.com she has forgiven the funnyman when he called and apologized.
"Dave called me on the phone and apologized. He wrote me a sweet letter and promised me he'd be sweet and he really was - I love him," the 26-year-old says. "He was so nice. It was one of the best interviews I've ever done and I can't wait to go back."
