Paris Hilton Paid $150K To Show Up At A London Club

Even though she arrived two hours late, Paris Hilton earned $150,000 just for making an appearance at London nightclub Mahiki on Monday.

The heiress, 27, had only stayed for less than one hour to drink cocktails and do a DJ spot at the Mayfair club.

Before her arrival, the club bosses had been ringing her nonstop to see if she was really coming. Apparently, she woke up later than she needed to because she was tired from traveling, and still had her hair and nails done.

Upon her much-anticipated arrival, Hilton had demanded a $200 Treasure Chest cocktail after downing champagne.

Despite her behavior that night, boyfriend Benji Madden still thinks "she's very warm and sweet" and that he didn't think she has acted like a diva.

He says, "I have never met that Paris Hilton. I have never seen that side of her."

"She is actually very different. She is very sweet and caring. I have never heard her talk about money or her background or showing off. She is actually very down-to-earth."
