Paris Hilton has been honored with the Woman of the Year award by Harvard Lampoon. While on a promotional tour for her new movie 'The Hottie and the Nottie,' the 26-year-old stopped by Harvard University to received the honor by the campus' humor magazine.

The award, which is given at irregular intervals, is like the Harvard Hasty Pudding award but "better than or equal to Woman of the Year," member Hayes Davenport explains.

"The choice was pretty easy when you think of who's had the most profound effect on our lives," Davenport adds.

"Thank you all for coming," Hilton, who had been greeted with screaming fans, thanks the crowd in her usual demure fashion. "An international icon meets countless people every day," she jokingly adds.

Hilton later teased the student when she said, "I have a best friend, she's standing right over there. It's Nicole Richie!" Just when everyone in the crowd looked for the famous new mother, the socialite said, "Just kidding. She's in L.A. with her baby."
