Paris Hilton doesn't want to be mocked for her acting anymore. In a bid to be taken seriously, the socialite has hired an acting coach to help her win award-winning roles.

The 26-year-old 'House of Wax' actress is amazed by the teachings of top drama guru Ivana Chubbuck on the set of her new comedy film 'The Hottie And The Nottie.'

"She's an incredible acting coach. If it's a scene where I have to get upset, I'll think of a past person. I'll think of something in my life, use it in the scene, and it really works," Hilton says.

Hilton will hire Chubbuck again to help her for her upcoming guest spot in the cable TV series 'The L Word.'

"I've learned actors are really great if they've lived the life and a lot of things have happened to them. I've had a lot happen to me in my life. Now I've learned to use those experiences in my acting."
