They're on again, they're off again - this time their friendship is reportedly on again but, quite frankly, who really cares. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are rumored to have put their differences aside (and what big differences they are) and rekindled their friendship in the past week.
"The Simple Life" stars are said to have met up last week at Nicole's adoptive father Lionel Richie's Los Angeles home where they finally made amends.
The one-time best friends mysteriously had a friendship fall out over a year ago but last week Paris called Nicole to wish her a belated happy 25th birthday.
The pair then met up at the Beverly Hills hotel last Wednesday at about 1 p.m. for about 10 minutes. They both drove separately to Lionel's home where they both stayed until after 3 p.m.
That morning, Nicole met up with her boyfriend Brody Jenner in Malibu where she ended their relationship. She later wrote on her MySpace blog that her "heart was never in it" and felt that he was using her for publicity.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Paris was involved in a fight with former beauty queen Shanna Moakler at Hyde nightclub.
Shanna allegedly shouted obscenities at Paris and punched her on the jaw after learning that the heiress had recently kissed her ex-husband, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.
