Speculation about Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson dating has been rampant since the blonde-haired, bubbly actress split from her rocker husband last week. But Owen is staying tight-lipped about his newly separated "You, Me and Dupree" co-star.
The actor-who has denied any romantic link with the 27-year-old actress-was bombarded with questions about her after she pulled out of the movie premiere in London on Tuesday.
Owen explained, "She's in California. I think she's doing fine."
On Monday, a studio insider revealed that Kate would not be attending the star-studded event following the split with her Black Crowes rocker husband Chris Robinson.
On Tuesday afternoon, Owen revealed he finds people attacking his private life and relationships hard to handle.
He told BANG Showbiz, "Criticism of me personally is far worse than someone attacking my movies. If it's me they're attacking it's hard. At least if someone is attacking a film I am in I can hide behind the product."
Meanwhile, Owen was left red faced after a fan flashed him as he did a meet and greet with fans in London's Leicester Square.
The actor-who was in the middle of a TV interview at the time-spluttered, "Wow, I kinda lost my train of thought with that one."
