Actor Orlando Bloom, 30, will not be prosecuted for his involvement in a minor car crash earlier this month.

Bloom was trying to avoid the paparazzi in his 2003 Toyota Matrix when a photographer in a white SUV cut him off, forcing him to crash into some parked cars.

Two unidentified passengers in the car were injured and taken to the local hospital for treatment, and police said there were no signs of alcohol or drug use.

Jane Robinson, a spokeswomen for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, said that there was "insufficient evidence" to prosecute Bloom for the accident.

Bloom is well known for his role as Will Turner on Disney's "Pirates of The Caribbean" movies.
