Parade magazine's annual pop culture and entertainment poll says that Americans consider billionaire TV mogul Oprah Winfrey the smartest entertainer in show business.
Oprah got 42-percent of the vote with her closest competition real estate and television tycoon Donald Trump, who had 24-percent of the vote.
Comedy Central's Jon Stewart managed 11-percent.
Americans considered Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry the best-dressed in Hollywood, with Jennifer Aniston and her nemesis Angelina Jolie in second and third place respectively.
The acquittal of Michael Jackson of child molestation charges was voted the biggest shock of 2005, followed by Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney's minute-long marriage, and Tom Cruises weird behavior on the Oprah Show.
Parades's poll was conducted online among a representative sample of 500 Americans.
