As host and supervising producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah earns about $260 million per year making her the highest paid TV personality in the US, according to TV Guide magazine.
The July 23rd issue also names Simon Cowell from American Idol as the second highest earner at $45 million.
Judge Judy comes in third with a $30 million salary and Katie Couric was named the highest paid news anchor taking in $15 million.
According to the list, William Petersen from CSI is the top paid actor per episode earning $500,000 per taping while Law and Order's Mariska Hargitay was the top earning female at $300,000 per episode.
Primetime Stars Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatomy, Eva Longoria from Desperate Housewives and Charlie Sheen from Two and Half Men also made the list.
