It's an eye candy issue for the girls as Details magazine serves up the three main boys of "Gossip Girls" on its November cover.
Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick, who all found fame when they accepted their roles on The CW teen drama, agree that their jobs are really what they are: jobs.
But as Penn says, "There's no 'Oh, boo-hoo.' The truth is, we all wanted this. We're living amazing lives that so outweigh the negative shit."
23-year-old Chace, who plays Nate Archibald on the show, reveals that he is not crazy about "last looks," the moment before every take when a small battalion of hair and makeup artists make sure they look perfect on screen, and that he didn't like being handled and positioned "like an animal."
But for all it's worth, "It never really gets frustrating," he adds.
Penn - who dates on-screen girlfriend Blake Lively in real life - has one wish with his chosen career.
He tells the magazine, "I hope in five years, I no longer look at acting as a job but as a creative passion. That's how I want to be different."
And for Ed, he might be playing the arrogant and manipulative Chuck Bass in the series but in real life, he has "never had a problem making friends."
He boasts, "Put me in a bar and I'll make friends straightaway. And I'm at my most impressionable age. I need to meet new people, and soak up everything like a sponge."
The boys reveal more on their newfound fame in a new interview with Details magazine's November issue, out on newsstands soon.
