Kid Rock is obsessed with Amy Winehouse. The "All Summer Long" singer can't get enough of Amy's vintage soul sound, and thinks it could have a place in his own music.

Rock, who has turned his back on his trademark rap-rock sound, said: "The only thing I've been listening to lately is Amy Winehouse. She's got me back into that old-school soul thing. Her album is so great it's made me go through all my old Stax and Motown records again.

Joss Stone is reportedly dating Nelly. The British soul singer has been on several secret dates with the 33-year-old rap star - who is 12 years her senior - and is said to be smitten with him.

A source revealed: "Joss and Nelly have been out on a few dates. It's early days but Joss is really happy. It's great that she has met someone as successful as she is and who understands the pressures of being a performer."

The 240-unit condominiums, called Riverhouse, are currently under construction and are scheduled to be completed this summer for occupancy.

The main floor of the building is also going to have a branch of the New York Public Library and a City Bakery.

Janet Jackson can't trust men because of her father's infidelities. The singer was left stunned after discovering her dad Joe had fathered a child with a fan of the Jackson 5 - the band made up of Janet's brothers and masterminded by Joe - in 1974, when Janet was just eight.

In 1979, Joe was accused of having an affair with an employee from his sons' record label Motown, and Janet admits his behavior left her wary of men and with the utmost respect for her mother Katherine.

Lionel Richie says his daughter Nicole does not need to apologize for her bad behavior. The singer believes his adopted daughter - who will stand trial on Wednesday as a result of her arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) last December - is just acting like any typical 25-year-old.

He said in an interview with the USA Today newspaper: "She keeps apologizing to me. I told her, 'You're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing to your father at this age.'"

Diana Ross once hit an airline worker with a hat box containing a small dog, it has been claimed. The Motown star has been branded a nightmare boss in 'Diana Ross', a biography by J. Randy Taraborrelli, due for publication in September.

The new book claims Ross hit the airline staff member over the head with the hat box, but adds she was presumably unaware the box contained the animal.
