Non-Celebrity Wins British Celebrity Big Brother

Chantelle Houghton, previously unknown to the British public, has won "Celebrity Big Brother" and a 25,000-pound prize after being planted in the show as a "fake" celebrity.

The 22-year-old was originally a novelty addition to the house and instructed to pretend she was a pop star.

Overall, three million votes were cast by the British public during the series, raising over 400,000-pounds for local charities. Other celebrity housemates earlier evicted from the house included a British politician, fashion model, and former NBA star Dennis Rodman.
