| Keane singer Tom Chaplin says Noel Gallagher is "stupid" for attacking his band. The Oasis guitarist recently branded Tom's band "s**t", but the vocalist insists it is time Noel, 41, grew up and learn to respect his peers. After being told what Noel had said about Keane at yesterday's Q Awards, Tom - who, along with his bandmates, collected the Best Track prize for single "Spiralling" at the London ceremony - told BANG Showbiz: "I can't be bothered with it to be quite honest. It's pointless in the world of music. In any other form of art nobody does that, it's just stupid." | |
| Noel Gallagher has hired British boxer Ricky Hatton as his bodyguard. Ricky, whose in-ring nickname is "The Hitman," will make sure there isn't a repeat of the stage invasion at Oasis' last show in Toronto, Canada, when a crazed fan knocked guitarist Noel over, leaving him with three cracked and dislodged ribs. | |
| Noel Gallagher thought he had been stabbed after being attacked on stage. The Oasis rocker - who is currently nursing broken ribs after being pushed over by a stage invader at Canada's V Festival earlier this month - admits he initially thought the incident was far more serious. | |
| Noel Gallagher took cocaine in Queen Elizabeth's private toilet at the British Prime Minister's residence. The Oasis guitarist has confessed to snorting the Class A drug at 10 Downing Street when he was invited to a reception by then Prime Minister Tony Blair shortly after he came into power in 1997. | |
| Noel Gallagher has branded Amy Winehouse a "junkie f**k-up." The Oasis guitarist says the singer, who has a well-documented problem with heroin and crack-cocaine, is a drug addict because she can't handle the pressures of fame and having a hit album. He fumed to Blender magazine: "People like Amy have got no pride in themselves. My message to her would be, 'Go make another record, or did the pressure of this one fry your little brain so you became a junkie?' I don't care for f**k-ups. If she carries on like this how will she end up? Who gives a s**t?" | |
| Amy Winehouse will soon be dead, according to Noel Gallagher. The Oasis guitarist has a number of songs left over from sessions for the band's new album 'Dig Out Your Soul' which he thinks Amy, 25, would be perfect for, but believes her rampant drug use will kill her soon. He told NME magazine: "I've got a backlog of 30-odd songs just sitting there. I don't know what the f**k I'm going to do with them all." | |
